I’m Yvana Sanders
With more than 23 years’ industry experience, my hair journey has taken me from salon apprentice to specialised bridal hair stylist — one that’s internationally recognised for my romantic, airy styles and ‘effortless’ finish (one that, in reality, actually requires a lot of effort!).
An expert Bridal Hairstylist & Educator based in Tauranga, New Zealand.
Mum, cat lover, self-confessed perfectionist and unapologetic hype woman, I’m utterly obsessed with two things: helping my stylists to advance their careers, and making my brides feel magical on their wedding day.

I love my cats. Rupert, Daisy & Hazel are my British Shorthair babies, and I always laugh when brides or students ask me how they’re doing.
I’m forever inspired by the fashion & hairstyles of the 1920s flapper era. The women were so glam!
My idea of a perfect Friday night is homemade chicken burgers + an intense action movie (or anything with Chris Hemsworth… I appreciate aesthetics, okay?)
I live by the values of family, loyalty, kindness, empathy, perseverance & reliability.
I'm a carpool karaoke kinda gal. I love blasting 90s pop with my kids & singing like nobody’s watching (and I really hope nobody is, for their sake).
I get overly excited seeing my students make friends with each other. I met my styling partner Cat Hughes in a Ulyana Aster Masterclass, so I know how special these industry connections are.
